OPEN DOOR SUPPER MINISTRY

Open Door Supper Ministry was held Saturday, June 20, 2026 with 16 meals prepared and delivered to the glory of our Lord and Savior.  We will take a break for the summer and pick back up Saturday, August 15th starting at 3pm in our church kitchen. 

Ladies Lunchable Connection

Everyone celebrated Mary W, Susie and Nancy’s birthdays as well as Dr. Margaret Honeycutt’s retirement and Devin and Susie’s new life journey in Tennessee.  We will take a summer break in July and pick up Wednesday, August 26th, 11:30am at the Huddle House.  Bring a friend or two and enjoy your summer break.

MEN’S BREAKFAST

The Men's Breakfast was Tuesday, June 9, 2026 in the Fellowship Hall of the Church.  Pastor Vincent Hogue from Covenant Presbyterian Church was the guest speaker.  Pastor Hogue shared the message of Joshua and the battle of Jericho and the importance of his faith in winning the battle.  Join the men Tuesday, July 14th in the Fellowship Hall at 8am and bring a friend or two.  Everyone is welcome, please come.

MISSION TEAM PROJECT

Jane Mulkey, Chair of the Mission Team and Shelley Lallande organized a sewing day Monday, June 15, 2026 to help Shelley with putting together the stuffed animals for the pediatric floor at Clinch Valley Medical Center that will be distributed to the children during their stay in the hospital. What a great Mission project thank you Jane and Shelley!

FELLOWSHIP DINNER JUNE

Team “C” under Helen’s leadership was a big hit at the June 14th Fellowship Dinner with casseroles galore from chicken to tuna and let me hear it for baked spaghetti and why not throw in Polish sausage too.  And we didn’t stop there because the summer spectacular was the desserts!  Thank you Team “C” and everyone else who chipped in for some good eating. See you Sunday July 12th when Team “B” under Team Leader Pam Lester gets to share their expertise. Can’t wait.
