Missions Ministry
Going beyond the four walls of the church building means supporting community projects and national/international projects. It includes financial support of Nacer USA, a Christian organization helping the orphaned, abandoned, and abused children of Bolivia. Mission teams have also been sent to help with construction/repair of the children’s homes.
Freddie and Lillian inform our members about the work going on at New Heart Girls’ School in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. We have supported this ministry for 22 years.
COMMUNITY-BASED Ministries
Open Door - We prepare and deliver meals to shut-ins and the elderly. We average 34 meals once a month. Volunteers are always needed to deliver meals so there is time for a friendly visit.

Food Pantry workers
Food Pantry – Richlands First Methodist was one of the founding churches of the Good Samaritan Food Pantry located on Veterans Drive. We continue to support it financially through our budget and providing volunteers in the management of the facility and in the distribution of food. We have a monthly goal of 100 items to donate to the Pantry.
Card Ministry for anyone needing a lift
Card Ministry - The Nurture Team sends cards to people letting them know that we care and that God loves them. Not just for members, anyone can request that a person be put on the list by filling out a request card in the back of the pew.
